Frequently Asked Questions¶
General¶
What is Humanoid Network?¶
Humanoid Network is a decentralized platform where contributors capture human motion data using their smartphones. This data is used to train humanoid robots and Physical AI systems. Contributors earn $HAN tokens for validated submissions.
Do I need a crypto wallet?¶
Not necessarily. You can sign up with Google, Apple, or email. A Base wallet is automatically created for you via Privy. You only need an external wallet if you want to transfer or trade $HAN tokens.
Is it available on Android?¶
Not yet. The Mecka capture app is currently iOS-only. Android support is planned for Phase 3.
Quests¶
How long does a quest take?¶
Most quests take 2-10 minutes to complete, including setup and recording time.
What happens if my submission is rejected?¶
You'll receive specific feedback on why it was rejected. You can re-attempt the quest after addressing the issues. There's no penalty for rejections.
Can I create my own quests?¶
Not currently. Quests are designed by the Humanoid Network team and partner labs. Community-created quests are planned for future releases.
Rewards¶
When will points convert to tokens?¶
Points convert to $HAN tokens at the Token Generation Event (TGE). The exact date will be announced in advance.
How is the conversion rate determined?¶
The conversion rate is calculated at TGE based on the total points issued across all contributors and the size of the contributor allocation pool.
Privacy & Data¶
What data do you collect?¶
Quests capture video recordings of task demonstrations. No biometric identification is performed. Faces can be optionally blurred.
Who owns the data I submit?¶
Contributors grant a data license to Humanoid Network upon submission. The specific terms are outlined in the Contributor Agreement. Contributors retain attribution rights.
Can I delete my data?¶
Yes. You can request data deletion through the dashboard. Processing takes up to 30 days.
